Hygge Gifts: Hygge is Where the Warmth is

My all-time-favorite gift to give my mother (basically every single year!) is a warm pair of hygge worthy socks. But this last year I decided to stray from tradition, while keeping the theme of warmth. Her mother-in-law suite in the house has windows on three sides! It’s wonderful for the natural light and she loves being able to enjoy a beautiful view, but it makes for a rather chilly environment in the evening and early morning. A camp cup was a no-brainer since she loves having a cup of tea in the evenings while she reads (I wanted to make sure it would keep the tea piping hot, but still have a handle for ease of use!). I opted for the three-month subscription gift and had it sent to my name (to avoid any suspicion on her part, since the element of surprise is key for a great gift). I can’t begin to tell you how proud I am of this gift.
